Inventory Manager (Event Management Company)

About the Company : Our client is a leading event management and rental service company, with a passionate and dedicated team of decorators, event planners, and designers, that specializes in creating unforgettable experiences for its clients. The Company seeks to hire an experienced and proactive Inventory Manager to join its growing team.

This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of the company's inventory management processes. The ideal candidate must have experience in fast-paced industries like retail or FMCG and possess strong organizational and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Process Development: Design and implement efficient processes for inventory check-out and returns. Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators and KPIs for inventory management. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, analyze trends, and generate reports. Quality Control: Ensure all items are inspected for quality before dispatch and upon return.

Inventory Organization: Optimize storage systems for easy access and efficient space utilization. Order Preparation: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pick-up with accuracy. Stock Updates: Regularly update the team on item availability and shortages. Audits & Maintenance: Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure timely maintenance or replacement of damaged items.

Requirements

Bachelorʼs degree or equivalent in a related field. 3+ years of experience in inventory management within retail, FMCG, or other high-intensity environments (rental business experience is a plus). Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.

Ability to lead a team, work independently, and collaborate across departments.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with rental inventory management principles, including tracking item conditions and managing returns efficiently. Experience in optimizing workflows in fast-moving environments with high turnover rates Benefits Compensation : Base Pay is N300k Monthly net (slightly negotiable) + other benefits.
