Corporate Paralegal
Job description
Corporate Paralegal Cincinnati, OH | Full-Time | Hybrid Legal Knowledge. Business Impact. At Clark Schaefer Hackett, the legal function doesn't operate on an island. As a Corporate Paralegal, you’ll work closely with firm leadership, operations, risk management, human resources, quality management, and business development to help keep a growing professional services organization running smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the legal side of business but also wants broader exposure to how a successful organization operates. You'll serve as a trusted partner to our In-House Counsel, helping manage contracts, corporate governance activities, compliance requirements, litigation support, client and vendor requests, and a wide range of business initiatives that require sound judgment, attention to detail, and absolute discretion.
If you're the type of professional who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and bringing answers instead of simply asking questions, we'd love to talk.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary administrator and internal subject matter expert for the firm's contract management and electronic signature platforms.
- Manage contract workflows from intake through execution, including approvals, deadlines, renewals, reporting, and recordkeeping.
- Draft, review, proofread, and maintain legal documents using approved templates and established procedures.
- Respond to requests from vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders for contracts, certificates of insurance, and related documentation.
- Support corporate governance activities, including Secretary of State filings, professional licensing, entity registrations, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Maintain organized legal and corporate records while coordinating document retention and records management efforts.
- Assist with litigation holds, e-discovery requests, insurance claims reporting, and matters involving outside counsel.
- Review, process, and maintain records related to legal invoices and vendor expenses.
- Provide support on shareholder, employment-related, and other confidential matters that require discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.
- Partner with leaders across the firm on special projects and initiatives that extend beyond traditional legal and compliance functions. What Makes Someone Successful Here The strongest candidates are not waiting to be told what to do next. They're organized, proactive, and comfortable making recommendations. They gather information, think through the issue, and come forward with solutions. They understand the importance of confidentiality and can balance competing priorities without letting details slip through the cracks. They are equally comfortable managing a contract database, coordinating regulatory filings, answering stakeholder questions, and helping solve business problems.

- Labor and employment law support.
- Professional services, accounting, consulting, engineering, healthcare, or other complex business environments. Why Clark Schaefer Hackett? Rather than focusing solely on legal administration, you'll gain visibility into how a leading professional services firm manages risk, serves clients, supports growth, and makes important business decisions. You'll work directly with experienced leaders, contribute to meaningful projects, and have the chance to make a tangible impact across the organization. We're large enough to offer sophisticated work and career growth, yet relationship-driven enough that your contributions are seen, valued, and recognized.
