Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to join our team in Fowlerville, MI. This role involves providing personal care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Monitor client’s condition and report any changes to nursing staff or supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by medical professionals.
• Document care and services provided accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or healthcare role is an asset.
• Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
