Sales Consultant

Role Purpose As a Sales Consultant in our Wood Department at Leroy Merlin, you will be the face of our store, helping customers discover the right products and solutions for their projects while creating a positive and inspiring shopping experience. You will play a key role in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and building lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Be the face of Leroy Merlin in-store, engaging directly with customers Help customers identify products and solutions that fit their needs Create a positive, welcoming, and helpful shopping experience Drive in-store sales through effective product knowledge and customer interaction Deliver excellent customer service at all times Build and maintain strong customer relationships Contribute to customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty Support the overall performance and success of the store Qualification and Experience Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.

1-2 years of retail sales experience, ideally in a customer-focused role. Skilled in sales techniques, negotiation, and rapport building. Knowledge of home improvement products is an asset. Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer applications. High level of accuracy and focus on detail, especially when managing displays and inventory.
