70/mile Unit: Home Shifts available: Days Shift timings: 8 Hours; Days, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8-hr shifts, Monday

• Friday, On Call - 1 full week including 5 weeknights (5.30 pm to 8.30 am) and 2 weekend days (24 hrs/day) Position Requirements: Registered Nurse: 2+ years
• Required Hospice Nursing experience: Recent/Current 2+ years – Required Travel experience
• Highly preferred Mc. Kesson EMR experience
• Highly preferred Education, License and Certification Requirements: ASN or an equivalent – Required BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred RN License for State of MI
• Required BLS Certifications from AHA
• Required Job Description: Provide all aspects of hospice nursing to assigned patients in comfort of their homes. Pain & Symptom Management: Assess patients and administer medications/treatments to ensure comfort and alleviate suffering. Care Planning: Develop and update customized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians, social workers, and other team members. Family Support: Educate family caregivers on disease progression, what to expect, and medication management. Crisis Intervention: Respond quickly to sudden changes in a patient's condition to manage pain and provide crisis support. Documentation: Keep accurate, up-to-date patient medical records and facilitate communication between the care team. Emotional & Spiritual Care: Offer compassionate companionship, grief counseling, and post-mortem support to grieving relatives. EMR: Mc. Kesson Territory: Callhoun County Patients per day: 5 – 8 ​
