• Friday No driver's license required Position Summary The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the community while providing excellent service to residents and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect resident apartments, bathrooms, public restrooms, lounges, dining rooms, nurses' stations, utility rooms, cottages, and other assigned areas according to established procedures and schedules. Remove trash from community areas and dispose of it in designated dumpsters. Complete assigned work according to priorities established by supervisors.

Clean and maintain housekeeping equipment and report repair needs promptly. Keep housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas clean, organized, and fully stocked. Follow all infection control and safety procedures. Attend required training and educational sessions. Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel, healthcare facility, retirement community, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service and hospitality skills. Positive attitude and ability to work well with others. Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Ability to lift at least 25 pounds. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and stretching. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds independently. Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.

Ability to operate housekeeping equipment, including vacuums. Ability to work around cleaning products and chemicals. Regular interaction with residents and team members. Why Join WhiteStone?
