Facility Operator

Facility Operator- Water Storage Company: CNX Resources Location: Apollo, PA (Onsite) Schedule: 7 Days On & 7 Days Off Position Summary CNX Resources is seeking a reliable and motivated Facility Operator to join our operations team in Apollo, Pennsylvania. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a water storage and handling facility, including monitoring pumps, valves, automation systems, truck offloading activities, and three large water storage tanks.

The ideal candidate is dependable, highly safety-conscious, and possesses strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and contractors. This role offers 7 days on, 7 days off schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor facility pumps, valves, and automated control systems
• Coordinate and oversee truck offloading activities to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Monitor water levels, pressures, flow rates, and system performance within three large water storage tanks
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and facility infrastructure
• Respond to operational issues, alarms, and equipment malfunctions in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate operational logs, reports, and documentation
• Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, drivers, and contractors
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations
• Assist with preventative maintenance activities and coordinate with maintenance personnel as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications Required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
• Reliable attendance and strong commitment to workplace safety
• Must be highly safety-conscious and demonstrate safe work practices at all times
• Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays as required by the schedule and operational needs
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with facility operations Preferred
• Experience operating industrial, water treatment, or fluid handling facilities.
• Familiarity with pumps, valves, storage tanks, and automated control systems.
• Experience with truck loading/offloading operations.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental compliance requirements.
