Position Summary

The Head of Operations is responsible for leading and managing all manufacturing and operational activities across the company's coconut processing facilities. The role oversees production, engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, occupational health and safety, utilities, warehousing, and continuous improvement to ensure efficient, safe, and profitable operations.

As a key member of the executive leadership team, the Head of Operations will drive operational excellence, maximize production capacity, ensure product quality, optimize costs, and support the company's expansion into a world-class, multi-factory manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans.
• Oversee all factory operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and customer commitments are achieved.
• Establish operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement across all departments.
• Lead the expansion and commissioning of new production facilities.
• Direct all manufacturing activities to maximize productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
• Optimize production scheduling, resource allocation, and capacity utilization.
• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions when required.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and operational standards.
• Lead department managers responsible for Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Utilities, Warehouse, and Continuous Improvement.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
• Mentor and develop future operational leaders.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication across all operational departments Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Engineering Management, or Operations Management is highly preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in a senior operations leadership role.
• Extensive experience managing large-scale manufacturing facilities, preferably in food processing, agribusiness, FMCG, or export manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence.
• Experience leading multi-site manufacturing operations is highly desirable.
• Professional certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management (PMP), or relevant engineering disciplines are advantageous. Must be fluent in Bisaya. Key Competencies
