Senior Weld Engineer

The individual will oversee and drive all weld department process improvement initiatives through to completion, assist production in achieving a smooth and efficient flow of product through the weld shop, and identify new areas for process improvement. Additionally, you will identify the root cause of weld defects to generate appropriate corrective action.

You will also be responsible for maintaining existing procedure and performance qualifications to Navy standards, assisting quality with welding related audit activities and working with Sales on job estimation. You will provide technical review of contracts for Weld procedures.
