Purpose of the position: As Piping Quantity Engineer you will be part of the ENCAR - TUBFA - Fano.

How can you support us?

A-Know-how, Research and Development Technology and Commercial Support ▪ Provide technical support on demand B-Feasibility Phase ▪ Support the preliminary MTO estimation C-Bidding phase/Commercial proposal ▪ Analyse and understand Tender documentation ▪ Set-up of material management software to be used ▪ Support to project team for WBS definition ▪ Download/Upload of piping MTO and MTO quality check ▪ Analysis of missing piping component after piping MTO ▪ Definition of typical piping assemblies ▪ Definition and management of Piping Specialty item ▪ Issue of Purchase Requisition for Market Investigation ▪ Elaboration of Piping Mechanical Quantity (quantity to be installed) and Piping Budget Quantity (quantity to be purchased) ▪ Support to define engineering hours D-Project Execution and Operational Phase ▪ Ensure the Piping and Layout engineering support to different projects ▪ Ensure the achievement of assigned goals and the fulfilment of project quality requirements and contractual obligations ▪ Seek solutions which can bring overall savings to the project ▪ Provide technical support to Procurement, Subcontracting and Construction activities included in the scope of work ▪ Feed the Piping and Layout Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the project ▪ Set-Up of Digital MTO (if applicable) ▪ MTO review and reporting ▪ Support to piping lead and piping engineer for mechanization activity and MTO quality check ▪ Identify component with missing weight supporting Piping Material Engineer ▪ Planning of Purchase Requisition issue according to project schedule, managing the whole cycle including Material Requisition (by Piping Material Engineer), Technical Enquiry Package, Purchase Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation (by Piping Material Engineer) ▪ Issue of Purchase Requisition ▪ Attach technical docs into SAP

▪ Upload into material management software of piping components' unit cost based on project criteria (original control budget, Project agreement, previous purchase order, etc.) and live update during project life ▪ Elaboration of Piping Mechanical Quantity ▪ Support to piping lead in preparation of piping material feasibility E-Construction and start-up ▪ Material Management at site F-Home office activities ▪ Projects support: provide input to discipline leads and quantity engineer to harmonize design and methodologies ▪ Define the modification of department work flow and dept technical standards ▪ Participate to the modification of company work flow and technical standardisation ▪ Collect project feed backs for continuous improvement implementation (Lesson Learned) ▪ Participate to project/company procurement strategy (Purchasing team) ▪ Develop and scout tools for design activities enhancement

What are we looking for?

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Computer Science

Background: 2-3 years experience in Industrial field

Languages: English Intermediate

Technical/IT Knowledge: MS Office; Advanced level in MS Excel

What else should you know? Some travelling will be expected within EMEA, Africa, Worldwide
