Cost Accountant

Role summary

This is a great opportunity for an experienced cost accountant to join Hynds' commercial finance team. Working at the intersection of finance and manufacturing, you'll play a key role in ensuring product costing accuracy, supporting month-end processes, and partnering with operations to drive performance across our manufacturing sites.

About the role

Monitor key areas within manufacturing with a focus on BOMs, inventory, and costing accuracy Work alongside the Commercial Finance team and operations to support and improve performance across Hynds manufacturing sites Ensure manufactured products are accurately costed and understand the impact on overall business performance Drive the raw material monthly stocktake process to ensure accuracy of BOMs and inventory Provide timely variance analysis and manufacturing data to support the operation of our facilities Assist with CAPEX analysis, finished goods stocktakes, and ERP improvement initiatives Work closely with operations staff to improve manufacturing efficiencies and build strong internal relationships
