Line Cook

We're looking for people who genuinely love great food to join us as Line Cooks. This is a fast-paced role at the heart of the guest experience — you'll help deliver the kind of culinary moments that make an Ameswell stay memorable. We welcome both full-time and part-time associates. Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes to meet production, delivery, and service schedules Portions and plates food to standard, ensuring correct temperature, taste, and presentation; tastes all prepared items Follows established ticket-collection procedures during service and maintains accurate records for the area worked Cleans the kitchen after preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the shift Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean, neat, and organized per standards Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed Assists with production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, guests, and managers Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations Performs other duties as assigned Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment with changing priorities Strong attention to food safety, sanitation, and presentation standards Ability to work well with coworkers, guests, and manager Reliable and professional, with flexibility to work full-time or part-time shifts PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment as needed Repeating the same movements throughout the shift Bending or twisting the body, and kneeling, stooping, crouching, or crawling as needed Using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
