Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their Port Elizabeth team, Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate accounting records Process and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Reconcile financial records and resolve discrepancies timeously Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies Assist with internal and external audits, as well as statutory and regulatory reporting requirements Requirements Grade 12 Bachelor's Degree in Financial Accounting Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Accountant role Recent experience in stock and fixed asset accounting is essential Proficiency in accounting software, including Sage Evolution and Sage Intacct Sound understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements within the South African environment
