Licensed Master/Clinical Social Worker - Mental Health

Responsibilities

Conduct psychosocial assessment, may include diagnostic interview Develop and implement treatment plan Provide psychotherapeutic interventions, including individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, play therapy, family and couple counseling, and other evidence-based treatments Provide crisis intervention Provide behavioral health consultation Provide case management services Provide agency referral and follow up Provide community outreach/education services Maintain treatment records in accordance with Health Center’s guidelines Participate in agency Quality Assurance activities and case conference Attend departmental meetings Ability to work on weekends and during late hours Provide supervision and guidance to interns and volunteers; LCSWs may also supervise LMSWs, as applicable Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited social work school New York State Social Worker License required Basic CPR (BCLS) Certification required (Health Center will provide if needed) Prior experience as a social worker in mental health field preferred Effective verbal and written communication skills a must Bilingual in English/Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) required Benefits: Medical insurance Employer-paid dental, vision, disability and life insurance 403(b) retirement savings plan Flexible spending accounts for transit, parking, health and dependent care Paid time off (28 days for the first year of employment) Continuing medical education time and allowance Employee Assistance Program Employee Discount Programs Tuition reimbursement for eligible employees, and The Health Center is qualified for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
