Production Manager

A Restaurant is seeking a competent, proactive, and results-driven Production Manager to oversee daily production operations, ensure consistent product quality, and maintain operational efficiency in line with the company’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and supervise daily production activities to meet operational demands. Quality Control: Ensure products meet company standards for taste, quality, consistency, and presentation Food Safety and Hygiene: Enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards. Cost Control: Minimize production costs, food waste, and unnecessary expenses.

Inventory Management: Ensure adequate availability and efficient use of raw materials and ingredients. Staff Supervision: Supervise production staff, assign duties, and monitor performance. Standardization: Ensure compliance with approved recipes, portion sizes, and production procedures. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure production equipment is properly maintained and faults are reported promptly.

Reporting: Prepare production reports on output, costs, wastage, and operational challenges. Operational Efficiency: Implement improvements to increase productivity and ensure timely production and delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or HND in Food Science, Food Technology, Production Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant production management experience, preferably in the food or restaurant industry. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and production processes Good communication, planning, and cost-control skills.
