POSITION: French Teacher - 0.2 FTE (anticipated) LOCATION: Weston High School Job Goal: To educate students in the French language and culture Qualifications Required: Holds or is eligible for the Connecticut State Certification as a French teacher (#018) Possesses a degree in French or French Language Education from an accredited college or university Demonstrates cultural competence and the ability to incorporate cultural elements into language instruction Possesses extensive knowledge of needs, behavior and growth patterns of children ages 14-18 Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate Reports to: School Principal Available: October 29, 2026 Terms of Employment: Salary and work year to be established by the Contract between the Weston Board of Education and the Weston Teachers' Association Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Weston Educator and Leader Growth and Evaluation Plan and Board of Education policy Apply online : Qualified candidates will submit a cover letter, resume, transcripts, and three letters of reference.
