Package Room Supervisor

Summary: The Package Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing efficient operations of package handling, ensuring exceptional guest service, and managing a team to maintain a smooth workflow. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and leadership qualities to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and process incoming mail, packages, and deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation and handling. Maintain detailed package inventory records and tracking logs to ensure accountability and timely retrieval. Utilize package management and computer systems to track, update, and monitor the status of all incoming and outgoing shipments.

Coordinate the preparation and shipment of outgoing mail and packages, ensuring compliance with carrier requirements and delivery schedules. Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring the accurate, secure, and timely distribution of packages while resolving delivery-related inquiries and issues. Comply with the company’s drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.

All other duties as assigned. Experience/Qualifications: Minimum two years of related warehouse/mailroom experience required. Minimum one year of supervisory experience in the package room /warehouse required. Experience using computer systems for tracking or inventory. Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Strong detail-oriented skills. This position requires extensive walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education
