Guaynabo, PR - Operational Excellence Advisor

Location: Guaynabo, PR On Site The Operational Excellence Advisor is responsible for supporting organizational performance improvement initiatives through the application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, process optimization techniques, and data-driven decision making. This role works collaboratively with business leaders and operational teams to identify improvement opportunities, eliminate waste, improve customer experience, reduce variation, and increase process efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities

Lead and support Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement initiatives across multiple departments. Facilitate improvement projects utilizing DMAIC, Kaizen, Lean, and other structured problem-solving methodologies. Analyze operational and business performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Develop dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and performance reporting tools.

Manage multiple process improvement projects simultaneously. Support adoption of standard work, visual management, and performance management systems. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Develop communication and training materials related to process improvements. Monitor sustainability of implemented solutions.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent combinations of education, Lean Six Sigma training, professional certifications, and relevant work experience may be considered.

3-5 years of professional experience preferred in: Process Improvement, Operational Excellence, Business Operations, Project Management, Continuous Improvement Experience applying Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools in a business environment.
