SAP Manager (SAP Functional & Technical Lead) Position Summary We are seeking a seasoned and highly technical SAP Manager to lead SAP solution design, business process alignment, and workflow validation across our core SAP product ecosystem and enterprise platforms. This role will serve as the key bridge between Business Stakeholders, Product Management, and Technical Teams , ensuring SAP business processes are properly understood, designed, implemented, and validated.

The ideal candidate will bring deep functional and technical expertise across SAP platforms and integrations, helping teams build and test the right SAP workflows while supporting successful delivery of SAP initiatives and transformations.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP Business Process Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Product Managers, Business Process Owners, and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into SAP solutions, workflow designs, and acceptance criteria. Act as the primary SAP subject matter expert, helping teams understand end-to-end business processes and their implementation within SAP. Provide clear communication regarding SAP solution health, business process risks, and readiness for major releases and enhancements. Facilitate governance discussions, risk assessments, and decision-making activities for SAP initiatives and rollouts.
2. SAP Solution Design & Workflow Validation Lead the design and validation of SAP business flows, integrations, and enterprise processes. Guide teams in understanding and implementing SAP workflows across core business functions. Support validation of SAP processes, integrations, APIs, OData services, and interactions with upstream and downstream enterprise systems. Partner with engineering and delivery teams to ensure SAP solutions align with business requirements and enterprise standards.
3. SAP Delivery, Governance & Continuous Improvement Drive best practices across SAP delivery lifecycle activities. Establish standards for SAP environments, process consistency, and solution quality. Monitor and improve operational effectiveness, process reliability, and business outcomes across SAP platforms. Support large-scale SAP initiatives including transformations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
4. Leadership & Team Enablement Provide leadership and guidance to technical teams supporting SAP initiatives. Mentor team members on SAP business processes, solution architecture, integrations, and enterprise delivery practices. Foster collaboration between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical resources. Required Qualifications & Experience SAP Expertise (Primary Requirement) Deep functional and technical understanding of SAP environments, including: SAP S/4HANA SAP ECC Core modules such as: FI/CO SD MM PP Success. Factors Ariba Strong knowledge of SAP integration technologies, including: IDocs RFCs BAPIs OData Services REST APIs Proven experience supporting complex SAP business processes and enterprise integrations. Technical & Delivery Leadership Experience leading enterprise-scale SAP initiatives and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of software delivery methodologies, release governance, and enterprise application lifecycle management. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience leading SAP S/4HANA transformation programs (Greenfield or Brownfield). Experience supporting cloud migration initiatives involving SAP platforms. SAP certifications or related enterprise technology certifications. Quality Assurance and test automation experience is highly desirable but secondary to SAP expertise.
