PCP - DHP Design Engineer

This role will report directly to the Mechanical Systems Engineering Director. This role supports the Progressive Cavity Pump (PCP) and Downhole Pump (DHP) segments of Lufkin Industries. He/she will develop and analyze engineering designs, specifications, technical data, and drawings using sound engineering principles.

He/she will be responsible for determining design factors such as size, shape and arrangement of parts, design life, and safety margins. Focus on cost-effective and reliable designs will play an important role in the work scope. In this role, the Design Engineer will interface regularly with the Engineering Director, mechanical engineering team, adjacent functions, and with regional leads to synergize total business efforts
