Procurement Support & Pricing Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Support & Pricing Analyst to support procurement, pricing, order processing, freight coordination, and production operations. The role involves processing customised awning orders, calculating pricing based on measurements and product specifications, preparing purchase orders, obtaining freight quotations, and maintaining advanced Excel spreadsheets.

Accuracy, strong numerical skills, and adherence to detailed procedures are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and process purchase orders, record transactions in MYOB, and maintain procurement records. Obtain and compare supplier and freight quotations; track orders, costs, deliveries, and bookings. Calculate pricing for customised awning orders using Excel templates, product specifications, measurements, materials, and freight costs.

Process orders in the Production System and prepare accurate technical worksheets and production documentation. Review measurements, specifications, pricing, and order details to identify discrepancies before manufacturing. Maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets, pricing templates, cost records, and operational reports.

Monitor material costs, aluminium prices, commodity prices, and exchange rates; identify cost trends and savings opportunities. Analyse six months of sales data, calculate average monthly sales, and prepare operational reports. Follow documented procedures, maintain accurate records, and escalate technical or pricing issues as required.

About You

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, calculations, data analysis and spreadsheet management. Experience in procurement, purchasing, pricing analysis, order processing or related operations. Experience using MYOB for purchasing, orders or financial transactions. Strong mathematical, numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret measurements and technical specifications.

Experience with detailed spreadsheets, pricing templates and customised order calculations. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and ability to follow complex procedures. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines. Experience obtaining quotations and coordinating with suppliers or freight providers.
