Assistant Nursing Superintendent

A reputed hospital in Kachiguda, Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Assistant Nursing Superintendent to support the nursing leadership team in managing day-to-day nursing operations. The role involves supervising nursing staff, maintaining quality patient care, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and clinical standards.

Qualifications

GNM or B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution Valid Nursing Council registration Relevant experience in hospital nursing services, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Responsibilities Assist the Nursing Superintendent in managing daily nursing operations.

Supervise and coordinate nursing staff across assigned departments. Ensure adequate staffing and effective allocation of nursing resources. Monitor nursing practices and maintain high standards of patient care. Support preparation and implementation of nursing duty rosters. Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies.

Monitor nursing documentation and clinical records for completeness and accuracy. Assist with staff orientation, training, performance monitoring, and professional development. Coordinate with doctors, nursing teams, and other hospital departments to ensure continuity of patient care. Address nursing-related operational concerns and support timely corrective actions.
