About Local Station Local Station is a contemporary Southern kitchen and bar rooted in the flavors of Northeast Georgia. We serve seasonal, locally inspired food and handcrafted cocktails in a welcoming, upscale casual setting. We are part of Jack’s Brand Restaurant Group, a family-owned hospitality company with five concepts across the region.

The Opportunity A clean kitchen is the foundation of everything we do, and the dishwasher is one of the most important roles in the building. We’re looking for someone who shows up, works hard, and takes pride in keeping our operation running smoothly. No experience necessary — just reliability, a good attitude, and a willingness to be part of a team.

If you’re interested in learning to cook, this is a real entry point. We promote from within, and cooks who come up through our kitchen tend to stick around. What You’ll Do Wash, sanitize, and organize all dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils throughout each shift Maintain cleanliness of the dish station, keeping it organized and running efficiently during service Restock clean items to the line, bar, and prep areas as needed Empty trash, sweep and mop kitchen floors, and assist with end-of-night breakdown Support the kitchen team with basic prep tasks as time and skill allow Communicate with the chef and line team to manage flow during busy periods What We’re Looking For No prior restaurant experience required — we’ll train you Reliable and punctual — the kitchen counts on you being there Ability to stay on your feet and move quickly in a hot, fast-paced environment A positive attitude and team-first mentality Comfortable taking direction and asking questions Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays Compensation & Growth Starting pay: $12 – $14 per hour, based on availability and reliability 401K Matching opportunities Meals provided during shift Real path to advancement: dishwashers who show initiative are the first in line for prep cook and line cook opportunities
