Machinist

Reporting to the Manager Production, a machinist must be able to set up and operate lathes, vertical and horizontal mills, vertical turret lathes, radial arm drills and drill presses with little to no guidance from the supervisor after receipt of job packet. Fit and assemble parts to make or repair machine tools and maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
