Home Health Aide

Overview

Caring Hearts Homecare is looking to hire Home Health Aides for Per Diem positions in Dorchester, Roxbury, Boston areas.

Qualifications

Be reliable and dependable. Have HHA certification. Be able to use a computer for documentation. Able to efficiently perform all HHA tasks. Have a car and a valid driver's license. Home care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Helps the patient maintain good personal hygiene. Assists in maintaining a healthful, safe environment for patients. Plans and prepares simple meals. Assists patients with basic health-related care needs. Encourages the patients to become as independent as possible and follow the aide care plan. Report any change in the patients' mental or physical condition.

Performs routine housekeeping tasks related to a safe and comfortable environment for the patients. Attends and completes in-services as required by state and federal regulations.
