Job description
Summary Keewaytinook Okimakanak (KO) is seeking a full-time Speech language Pathologist (SLP), position based out of Thunder Bay, Dryden, or Balmertown serving our KO communities . Speech language Pathologist responsibilities include the provision of clinical services: assessments, consultation, programming, individual and / or group sessions, education, and referrals as part of the KO and community Child First Team serving children from birth to 18 years of age with a developmental delay or disability living in KO communities.
The SLP will travel to each KO community for one week four times a year and will utilize telemedicine to provide follow up, consultation, teaching, and reassessment when not in the communities.
