• The Cook 1 at Educational Catering Inc will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to patrons. This position is designed to lead the preparation and cooking of food in accordance with the nutritional guidelines and standards.. The Cook 1 will work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations and contribute to a positive dining experience for all.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals following established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Assist in the inventory management of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are adhered to at all times.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal service efficiently.
• Assist in menu planning and development to meet the nutritional needs of students and staff.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth kitchen operations.Qualifications: Required Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent. Required Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen or catering environment.
• Proven experience in preparing a variety of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
• Experience in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
