Overview
The Director of Next Generation Ministries leads the vision, strategy, and standard for all next-gen environments across Lifepoint Church—from birth through young adults. This role ensures every campus is building dynamic, effective, and safe ministries that help the next generation take their next step toward life in Jesus.
This is a builder, developer, and systems leader role.
Key Responsibilities
Set and lead the vision for Next Gen across all campuses (preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, college, young adults) Establish clear standards for safety, programming, and environments Support and coach campus pastors and campus staff in each age group Develop leaders and teams at every level Ensure consistency and excellence across all campuses Create systems and structures that allow ministries to grow and scale Champion a culture that reaches and develops the next generation What Success Looks Like Growing and healthy next-gen ministries across all campuses Strong leaders and teams at every level Safe, engaging, and effective environments Clear, consistent standards that are executed well A pipeline of students and young adults taking next steps in their faith Who We’re Looking For A high-capacity leader who can build and scale ministries A strong developer of leaders and teams Someone who can set vision and bring clarity A systems thinker who can create structure without slowing things down A team player who works well with campus pastors and central leadership A person who cares deeply about the next generation Experience Proven success in Next Gen ministry leadership Strong experience in at least one area (preferred multiple): preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, college, or young adults Experience building and leading teams in a growing church environment Our Culture Efficiency – maximize time and resources Flexibility – plan to be flexible Health – lead well because we are well Honesty – give our last 10% Hustle – unmatched effort Leadership – develop and empower others Teachability – always learning Trust – put trust in the gap Unity – one band, one sound Unoffendability – thick skin, soft hearts About Lifepoint 20-year-old church in a strong growth season ~3,300 average attendance 4 campuses Expanding and building for the future Final Thought This role shapes the future.
