Accounting Generalist Location: Running Aces Casino Hotel Racetrack - 15201 Running Aces Blvd, Columbus, MN 55025 Schedule: Part Time, December 2026- April 2027, flexible schedule Perks: 401k, employee discount, flexible schedule, ESST Purpose of the Accounting Generalist: The purpose of the Accounting Generalist is to facilitate and assist with daily, monthly and yearly accounting transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Creates and maintains data and journal entries for accounting transactions Performs daily revenue auditing Assists with clerical work, data entry, and filing as needed Assist with accounts payable and bank statement reconciliations Performs month-end account reconciliations Assists with audit preparation Any additional duties or projects assigned Skills/Requirements Previous accounting knowledge and experience required Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills Strong attention to detail Numbers-oriented and previous experience working with computers, 10-key and Microsoft Office Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex situations and data Flexibility with the ability to work independently and in a team setting Must possess excellent computer skills and be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision Must possess sound judgment and the ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of fellow team members This position must have an ability to acquire within four months, a comprehensive understanding of company policies and procedures, state regulations, and technical rules relevant to the role’s responsibilities.
