Paraeducator

ANTICIPATED: Paraeducator � Behavioral Support We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Paraeducator to support students with behavioral, social-emotional, and learning needs in a school setting.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized support to students experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges. Implement behavior support strategies and individualized student plans. Encourage positive behaviors, self-regulation, communication, and independence. Assist students with transitions, classroom routines, and academic activities.

Respond calmly and appropriately to challenging behaviors while maintaining student dignity and safety. Track and document behavioral progress as directed by the teaching team. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families. Follow school safety, behavioral, and crisis intervention procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with children or students with behavioral or special education needs preferred. Patient, dependable, and able to remain calm in challenging situations. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow individualized behavior plans and maintain confidentiality.

A genuine interest in helping students develop positive behaviors and succeed in school. Salary per contract
