Service Sales Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and technically competent Service Sales Engineer – Heating & Refrigeration Solutions to drive service business growth across our installed customer base and new accounts in Indonesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting service agreements, maintenance contracts, upgrades, modernization projects, spare parts, and technical solutions for industrial heating and refrigeration systems.

This role combines technical expertise with consultative sales skills to support customers in maximizing equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.

Responsibilities

/ Tasks Sales & Business Development Develop and execute service sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industrial refrigeration and heating markets. Promote preventive maintenance agreements, inspections, spare parts, retrofits, upgrades, and repair services.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and end-users. Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and solution discussions. Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and service contract negotiations. Manage sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts through CRM tools.

Technical Support & Solution Selling Assess customer equipment and operational challenges to recommend appropriate service solutions. Collaborate with service engineers and technical teams to develop tailored maintenance and upgrade proposals. Support troubleshooting discussions and identify opportunities for service improvements.

Advise customers on energy efficiency, system optimization, reliability enhancement, and lifecycle extension initiatives. Customer Relationship Management Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and follow-up. Act as the primary commercial contact for service-related opportunities. Monitor customer needs and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

Market Intelligence Track competitor activities and market developments within the heating and refrigeration industry. Identify emerging technologies and customer requirements to strengthen market positioning.

Your Profile

/ Qualifications Education Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in: Mechanical Engineering Refrigeration Engineering HVAC Engineering Related technical disciplines Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in: Industrial Refrigeration Systems HVAC/Refrigeration Service Sales Technical Sales Engineering Aftermarket or Service Business Development Technical Knowledge Understanding of industrial refrigeration systems, compressors, condensers, evaporators, heat exchangers, and related equipment.

Knowledge of heating systems, thermal processes, and energy-efficient solutions is an advantage. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, system layouts, and equipment specifications. Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals. Competencies Strong consultative and solution-selling skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills. Commercial mindset with negotiation and influencing capabilities. Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented. Willingness to travel within Indonesia as required.
