This position will lead the execution and expansion of annual giving initiatives, develop strategies to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors, and create meaningful opportunities for supporters to deepen their connection to Girl Scouting.
The Manager will oversee annual fundraising campaigns, grow recurring giving, support alumni and planned giving initiatives, and implement thoughtful donor stewardship and recognition strategies. Develop and implement strategies to grow recurring gifts through donor acquisition, conversion, retention, and stewardship. Establish campaign goals, monitor performance, and use fundraising data to evaluate results and improve strategies.
Donor Relations & Stewardship Develop and implement donor recognition and stewardship strategies, including personalized outreach, impact communications, and appreciation activities. Create opportunities to strengthen donor retention, increase giving frequency, and encourage long-term philanthropic support. Support alumni fundraising and stewardship initiatives, including targeted communications, outreach, and opportunities to reconnect with Girl Scouting.
Support planned giving awareness and stewardship efforts for the Juliette Gordon Low Society, including donor communications, recognition, and cultivation activities. Plan and coordinate smaller donor cultivation and appreciation gatherings, including donor teas, intimate receptions, alumni gatherings, and planned giving recognition events.
Create opportunities for donors to connect with Girl Scout programs, leadership, and mission impact. Coordinate event logistics, invitations, vendors, materials, and donor follow-up for assigned donor gatherings. Partner with the Program Team's Event Manager on donor-related components of larger fundraising events, as appropriate.
Collaboration & Reporting Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to develop donor newsletters, impact stories, stewardship materials, and other donor-facing content. Work with the database team to support donor segmentation, campaign tracking, accurate donor records, and fundraising reporting. Monitor and report on annual giving revenue, donor retention, recurring giving growth, campaign performance, and stewardship activities.
Collaborate with the Senior Director and other Fund Development colleagues to identify donor upgrade opportunities and ensure coordinated cultivation and stewardship.
Qualifications
Three to five years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, annual giving, donor relations, or a related field. Demonstrated experience developing and executing fundraising campaigns and donor stewardship initiatives.
