General Manager of Quality Control- Automobile

MAJOR FUNCTION:

1. Maintains quality management system in compliance with ISO/TS 16949 requirements and customer specification
2. Monitors standards of the organization or quality process
3. Manages current process improvement and new process development
4. Develops plans for annual internal and external QMS audit plans
5. Trains internal auditors, department specialists/team members ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
6. Conducts and completes internal audits based on annual internal audit schedule
7. Manages 2nd and 3rd party quality system audits
8. Supervises the department team members
9. Manages financial information
10. Leads quality innovation activities (setting up goal/periodic monitoring, etc.)
11. Develops quality strategy planning
12. Controls failure cost (internal failure cost/field claims/customer downtime cost, etc.)
13. Forecasts field quality issue trends
14. Develops annual business plan, management review, financial reports
15. Review and approve department documents
16. Monitors and resolves internal and external customer concerns
17. Develops corrective action plan for customer claims,
18. Performs other duties as assigned ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

20. Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering field and 15 years related field experience required
21. Fifteen years of process improvement experience required
22. ISO/TS 16949 Internal Auditor certification required
23. SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plan, fixture planning experiences required
24. Proficiency in Window Excel, Power Point, Word, CAD required
25. An individual must demonstrate strong supervisory, interpersonal, communication skills
