Position summary

A career-minded engineer, looking towards advancement, is needed to join JMT’s fast-growing Water/Wastewater consultant engineering practice. Employee will assist with engineering designs in the W ater/ W astewater field through working knowledge of applicable design criteria, regulatory requirements, standards and processes; conduct multiple design projects simultaneously; and develop, analyze and document critical design elements.

The selected candidate will become part of an established team of engineers working on exciting wat er m ain d esign s , wat er dis trib ution projec ts, large vault d es igns , flow monit oring , development reviews, and comprehensive water and sewer plans , W ater/ W astewater treatment, and pump station project s .

Employee is expected to provide quality engineering evaluation and design services efficiently with adequate supervision to support the project team’s objective and provide customer satisfaction on all projects, delivering projects of high quality on schedule and within budget. 00-45.00/hour, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Essential Functions

and Responsibilities Perform with alternative studies Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to complete a task Perform design computations Assist in designing projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools Assist with developing the project quantities for construction cost estimate Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction Coordinate with internal team members to ensure project completion by the defined deadline and established quality Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities Perform other related duties as assigned
