About Us
The Just One Project's mission is to increase access to food, resources, and supportive services to build a stronger, healthier, and more connected community. The Just One Project has a culture of attracting the most passionate and talented people to represent The Just One Project by reinforcing strong values, work-life balance, and diversity. We know that our company culture ultimately affects client experience. Every program is designed with our clients in mind; we are "client-centric."
Everything we do is guided by our core values: Respect, Integrity, Innovation, and Compassion, and by our Gold Standard of service. We believe every person who walks through our doors deserves to be treated with the same care, dignity, and respect as you'd want for your own family, whether they're picking up groceries or asking for help with something much harder. We're looking for someone who doesn't just agree with these values, but lives them out in how they treat every neighbor they serve.
About the Role
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you'll play an important role in keeping our warehouse organized, efficient, and ready to serve our community. From managing inventory and preparing food distributions to supporting volunteers and community events, your work will help ensure that essential resources reach the neighbors who need them most.
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you'll help keep daily operations running smoothly while creating a safe, welcoming, and team-oriented environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying organized, solving problems, and making a meaningful difference behind the scenes.
This is a full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Staff also participate in a minimum of 6 Saturday Pop Up & Give events per year.
What You'll Do
- Support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, storing, and distributing food and supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct inventory counts, and ensure proper product rotation
- Keep warehouse spaces clean, organized, and compliant with safety and food handling standards
- Prepare and coordinate food and supplies for community programs, distributions, and special events
- Work alongside staff and volunteers to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse activities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as trained and certified
- Assist with scheduling, data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks
- Support workplace safety initiatives and communicate operational needs or concerns
- Participate in a minimum of 6 Saturday Pop Up & Give events per year
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or a related field preferred
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license and ability to meet organizational insurability requirements
- Willingness to obtain a Nevada Food Handler Safety Training Card within 30 days of hire, when required
- Forklift and OSHA safety certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort using computers, inventory systems, and basic administrative software
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a genuine passion for helping others
- A commitment to our mission and core values of Respect, Integrity, Innovation, and Compassion
Compensation and Benefits
$20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience. As a full-time team member, you'll also receive:
- Health, Dental, and Vision coverage
- Additional insurance options including Life Insurance, AD&D, Critical Illness, Accident Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability, and Pet Insurance
- 401(k) retirement plan with 3% employer match
- Paid Time Off, accrued from your start date
- 2 floating holidays
- Birthday Pay
- Bereavement pay
- 8 weeks of paid parental leave
- Over 6 weeks of paid holiday time off per year
Don't Meet Every Requirement? Let Us Decide!
We know that meaningful experience comes in many forms, and some of the best team members bring unique backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences to their work.
If this position excites you and you believe your skills, experience, and passion for helping others would make you a great addition to our team, we encourage you to apply!
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, drug screening, motor vehicle report, employment verification, and reference checks, as permitted by law.
