Cashier / Receptionist (Giambalvo CDJR)

Be the first friendly face and voice our customers experience! The Jack Giambalvo Family of Dealerships is looking for a friendly, professional, and dependable Cashier/Receptionist to join our team at Giambalvo CDJR! As the front-line contact for our dealership, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for every customer who walks through our doors or calls us on the phone.

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates with confidence, stays organized, and can keep things running smoothly in a busy dealership environment.

What You'll Do

Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally and connect customers with the appropriate department or team member Greet and assist customers with a friendly, welcoming attitude Take accurate and thorough messages and make sure they reach the appropriate person in a timely manner Answer general questions and direct customers to the appropriate department or team member Assist customers with questions regarding payments, service visits, repair orders, and other dealership needs Receive and accurately process cash, check, and credit card payments Operate the cash register and dealership computer system Calculate customer balances, make change, issue receipts, and verify daily cash totals Process refunds and credits as appropriate Maintain accurate records and follow dealership cash-handling procedures Assist with general clerical duties such as filing, sorting mail, typing, and proofreading Stay informed about dealership products, services, and pricing Handle customer concerns with professionalism, patience, and integrity, involving the appropriate team member when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area Perform other duties as needed to support the dealership team What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

We're looking for someone who: Has excellent communication and customer service skills Is friendly, professional, approachable, and dependable Speaks clearly and confidently on the telephone Can communicate messages accurately and efficiently Is comfortable handling cash and processing payments Has strong attention to detail and organizational skills Can multitask and prioritize in a busy environment Uses good judgment when determining how to handle customer questions or concerns Is comfortable using computers and learning dealership systems Maintains a professional appearance and positive attitude Works well as part of a team Has the ability to remain attentive and safety-conscious throughout the workday Previous cashier, receptionist, customer service, or dealership experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person!
