Manufacturing Assistant

Work for one of the largest manufacturers of rigid metal and plastic containers in North America! Now hiring 1st shift 6 AM - 2:30 PM (with mandatory overtime) Position Summary: Support plant production needs for daily operation, changeovers, and outbound shipments. Primarily responsible for assisting in the packaging of the product and assisting in changeover with other production teammates.

Responsibilities

Ability to meet production standards within a specific time frame Maintain good housekeeping/ clean work area Reports all production waste to Lead or Supervisor Responsible for safety and quality throughout production Responsible for notifying a Lead or Supervisor when they step off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained Performs other duties as required Follows company policies and procedures Requirements: Steel-toe boots.
