Instructional Aide - Special Education 3 Hours

Job Summary

SUMMARY Under general supervision of the site principal, receives direction from the certificated personnel assigned to perform a variety of tasks associated with the educational needs of special education students in either a Special Day Class or an RSP Class setting both individually or in groups; prepares instructional materials and performs routine· clerical tasks as assigned; performs other related work as required.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent. Licenses/Certificates and Other Requirements
• Consistent with the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), candidates for this classification will be required to receive a passing score on the CODESP Proficiency Test. This classification is subject to the provisions of NCLB. Comments and Other Information Experience
• No experience is required.
