Manager - Construction

Manage and monitor the Main Contractor and specialist subcontractors. Supervise day-to-day construction activities and overall site progress. Monitor the approved programme, identify delays and implement recovery measures. Coordinate Architects, Structural, MEP, QS and specialist consultants. Monitor construction quality, inspections, mock-ups and NCR closure.

Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, MEP and finishing works. Monitor contractor resources, workmanship and site productivity. Assist with variations, delays, claims and other contractual matters. Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements. Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover. Prepare regular progress reports and highlight key risks and issues to the Project Director/Project Manager.

Managing overall site activities Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a recognized university. Minimum 10 years of relevant construction experience, including at least 7 years in building construction/site management. Proven experience in managing hotel/resort or other high-end hospitality projects, preferably with at least two projects completed through construction, finishing and handover.

Previous experience in a PMC/consultancy environment would be highly desirable. Strong experience in managing Main Contractors and coordinating Architects, Structural, MEP, QS and specialist consultants. Good knowledge of construction planning, programme management, quality control, HSE, contract administration and construction methodologies.

Working knowledge of Primavera P6/MS Project, AutoCAD and relevant construction management systems (cloud system). Good knowledge of civil, structural, architectural finishing and MEP coordination works. Experience in hotel fit-out, testing & commissioning and handover would be an advantage. Familiar with MS Office, outlook and Teams.
