Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in Saint Clair, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.

Requirements.

• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
