Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join our team in Brighton, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients who require assistance with daily living activities, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support clients with mobility and transferring
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Report any changes in client condition or concerns to supervisory staff
• Follow all care plans and company policies to ensure quality care and safety

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or home health care is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred but not required.
