The About Our client is a leading Australian gold producer with large-scale operations across Western Australia’s Goldfields region. We are currently seeking an experienced Emergency Services Officer (ESO) with a current BG4 qualification for an urgent FIFO opportunity commencing 23 September 2026 . This is an immediate requirement for an experienced ESO who is available for night shift work on an 8:6 roster , with a competitive rate of $90 per hour + superannuation .

The Opportunity Start Date: 23 September 2026 Roster: 8:6 Shift: Night shift Rate: $90 per hour + superannuation FIFO: Western Australia Accommodation and meals: Provided on site Employment: Short-term/contract opportunity with potential for ongoing work You will play a critical role in maintaining site safety through emergency response readiness, mine rescue capability, incident management and proactive risk mitigation.

The Tasks Ahead Respond to emergency incidents, providing medical, rescue and firefighting support Operate and maintain BG4 breathing apparatus and associated rescue equipment Conduct inspections and testing of emergency response equipment to ensure operational readiness Participate in emergency response training exercises and mock scenarios Assist with incident investigations and hazard identification activities Promote safe work practices and emergency preparedness across site Maintain emergency response equipment and ensure readiness for deployment Ensure compliance with site health, safety and environmental standards About You You are an experienced Emergency Services Officer with previous mining industry experience and a current BG4 qualification .

You will be confident working independently during night shift and responding effectively to high-pressure emergency situations. You will also be committed to maintaining a high standard of emergency response readiness and site safety. Due to the urgent nature of this position, you must be available to commence on 23 September 2026.

Key Requirements Current BG4 Qualification – essential Certificate III in Mines Emergency Response and Rescue Certificate IV in Healthcare or higher qualification Current First Aid qualification Drug and Alcohol Testing qualification National Police Clearance Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence HR Driver's Licence – highly regarded Previous mining industry experience Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen Availability for night shift and an 8:6 roster Availability to commence 23 September 2026 PLEASE NOTE: Only applicants residing in Western Australia with full Australian working rights will be considered.
