• FULL TIME HTM Contractors, Inc. | Honolulu, Hawai?i BUILD YOUR FUTURE WITH HTM GROUP Join our accounting team as a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) & Billing Specialist. This position supports accurate and timely customer billing, payment processing, collections, and financial reporting. We're looking for a dependable, organized professional who can manage multiple billing deadlines, maintain accurate customer accounts, and communicate effectively while supporting our accounting operations. WORK SCHEDULE Monday�Friday, 7:00 AM�4:00 PM (one-hour unpaid lunch) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Billing Create customer invoices within 24 hours of approval. Prepare and submit progress billings. Process change order billings accurately and on time. Track and maintain customer retention balances. Ensure all billings comply with contract requirements and company procedures. Collections Review accounts receivable aging reports weekly. Follow up on outstanding customer balances. Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status. Escalate delinquent accounts to management when necessary. Help maintain strong customer relationships while improving collections. Customer Payments Apply customer payments accurately. Record daily cash receipts. Maintain accurate customer account records. Research and resolve payment discrepancies. Ensure customer account balances remain current. Reporting Maintain accurate accounts receivable aging reports. Update and track retention schedules. Support cash flow reporting and forecasting. Provide documentation and reporting for month-end close.

QUALIFICATIONS

& EXPERIENCE Previous accounts receivable, billing, or accounting experience preferred. Experience with construction billing, progress billings, or retention tracking strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to manage collections professionally and effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with accounting software or ERP systems preferred. Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills. Dependable, accountable, and team-oriented.
