Front Office Medical Assistant

Pro. Health Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas. We are seeking a Front Office Medical Assistant to support our office in San Pedro, CA .

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Hours: Mon-Fri, 9:00am-6:00pm Pay: $23/hr.

Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients Verify insurance coverage and demographic information Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR system Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments and follow-up visits Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries Route messages to appropriate staff members Collect co-pays and patient balances Process patient payments accurately Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and medical records requests Monitor patient flow and communicate wait times professionally Complete daily administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, and stocking front desk supplies Qualifications and Skills: At least 1 year of front office experience in a clinical healthcare setting Bilingual (Spanish), preferred Must be MA certified CPR certification Organized and patient-focused Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance 401k Paid Holidays PTO Pro.
