JS Automation Lead

JS Automation Lead Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Experience: 6–8 Years Budget: Up to INR 17 LPA Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role Sony India Software Centre (SISC) is seeking a JavaScript Automation Lead to drive test automation initiatives for web applications. This role involves designing robust automation frameworks, collaborating with global teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery across projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain end-to-end test automation scripts for web applications. Design, implement, and enhance JavaScript-based automation frameworks. Analyze automation execution failures in CI/CD pipelines and provide insights. Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to resolve blockers independently. Mentor team members and drive automation best practices.

Support release activities and proactively identify areas for quality improvement. Mandatory Skills Strong expertise in JavaScript programming with OOP methodologies. Hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Selenium, WebDriverIO, Appium. Exposure to Mocha, Chai frameworks. Experience with Git, Jenkins, Test Management, and Bug Tracking tools.

Good-to-Have Skills Playwright. CI/CD & DevOps exposure.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science / Engineering (or equivalent). 6–8 years of total experience with minimum 6 years in relevant automation testing. Interview Process L2 Interview: Face-to-Face
