• Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities LOCATION & SCHEDULE Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico 88011 Work Arrangement: In-Person Setting: Outpatient Schedule: Full Time Travel Required: No POSITION SUMMARY The MRI Technologist works in an outpatient setting, performing imaging procedures, preparing patients and equipment, monitoring patient conditions, and reviewing imaging results for quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review patient history and physician orders.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and examinations to support understanding and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications when ordered and within scope of practice.
• Continually monitor patient condition and report or respond to changes as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for imaging procedures.
• Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyze imaging results and identify image quality issues.
• Address image quality concerns through patient repositioning and repeating procedures as needed.
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results.

Requirements

EDUCATION

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences, as stated in the Job Description. MANDATORY CREDENTIALS
• Registered in MRI with ARRT or certified by ARMRIT. REQUIRED
• New Mexico state MRI license, or ability to obtain one, as stated in the Must-Have Requirements. REQUIRED
