Early Childhood Program Teacher’s Aide (Infant & Young Toddler) The Academy of the Sacred Heart is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, nurturing team members to join our community. This position works with children from birth to age 3 in our Early Childhood Program. Team members foster a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom supporting each child’s growth, exploration, and love for learning.

Primary Responsibilities: Create an emotionally responsive, caring, positive, and accepting environment supportive of the individual development of each child and family Supervise young children and ensure a safe and loving environment, including the ability to monitor and respond to events going on, at all times, in the classroom, outdoor play areas, and other areas of the campus Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests General Competencies: Completion of Protecting God's Children training, other health-related trainings (including, but not limited to CPR/First Aid), and fingerprints on file Excellent communication skills Punctuality and dependability Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and rules Maintain productive and professional relationships with other Sacred Heart faculty and staff members Preference is given to applicants who have an educational background and experience in the field About Academy of the Sacred Heart: Academy of the Sacred Heart, established in 1851, is Michigan’s oldest independent school, offering a Catholic, college-preparatory education to girls (Infant-Grade 12) and boys (Infant-Grade 8) of many cultures and faiths.
