Job Summary

Responsible for generating accurate demand forecasts that drive supply chain and production planning decisions. This role collaborates with sales, marketing, production, and logistics teams to ensure alignment between market demand and supply capabilities. The position plays a key role in inventory optimization, customer service improvement, and overall logistics efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze sales trends, market data, and customer orders to generate demand forecasts. Maintain and update forecast models within planning systems (e.g., SAP, Excel, or planning software). Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate market intelligence, promotions, and customer insights into the forecast. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and procurement to align supply with demand.

Lead or participate in the monthly demand review process and support the S&OP cycle. Identify and address forecast inaccuracies and propose corrective actions to reduce variance. Prepare and deliver reports on forecast performance, inventory turnover, and service levels. Support logistics planning for inbound and outbound movements based on forecast output.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. At least 2 years of experience in demand planning, logistics, or supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems like SAP is an advantage.

Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Good communication and collaboration skills across functions. Knowledge of forecasting techniques and inventory planning principles.
