Autism Nurture Teaching Assistant – Sutton

Senovo is recruiting an Autism Nurture Teaching Assistant for a supportive specialist school in Sutton. This role focuses on helping pupils feel secure, ready to learn and increasingly confident within predictable classroom routines.

What you will do

• Provide warm, consistent classroom support using autism-informed strategies.
• Help pupils manage transitions, sensory needs and emotional regulation.
• Deliver short targeted activities and reinforce communication and independence goals.
• Work closely with the class teacher and pastoral team to celebrate progress.

About you

• Experience supporting autistic children or young people in education or care.
• Patience, reliability and a positive approach to relationship-based support.
