Lactation Care Coordinator - Temporary

The Lactation Care Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, planning, and management of complex infant feeding concerns. Actively promotes breastfeeding and assists mothers in reaching their own goals for infant feeding and collaborates with community partners who provide perinatal services to address any social drivers of health.

Fosters a baby friendly environment and utilizes the nursing process in provision of lactation consultant services to patients within the health system. Works to continue the Baby Friendly Program designation. Works within the Perinatal Lactation Care Coordination Program team and other health system departments serving this patient population.
